In Ireland, it is in the background and it was sometimes a glimpse of Irish society and its influence on individual behavior but, overall, a story that could happen in any other country. This is easy reading, the kind of book you could read on holidays but nothing new. Note that there is a "suite" that I probably read in a few months. . . .
